Snow in Portland…

Yesterday we woke up to this on the windshield...

I don't think it was actually snow, but they sure looked like snowflakes...

Perfect fairytale snowflakes...

But this morning there was the real thing!!!

We stayed home from school to enjoy the magic...

I guess it only snows on rare occasion, like every several years or so...

We feel very lucky with this first December living here.
