Portland Day Five, Down Town...

We started our morning in Kenton getting coffee at Posies with two of our favorite friends...

I really like Posies. they have a sweet atmosphere and tasty things to eat...
They don't go over board with hip, yet they hold their own when it comes to coffee shops worth remembering...
We then took the max train down into down town...
It was the first train the kids had been on in a long time...
After we got off and rondevu-ed with our other very important friend, we wandered down to the food trucks and ordered ourselves some lunch…
We picked Egyptian food, which is something we had never tried before...
Took it to water front park to eat...
And enjoy each others company for one of the last times for a while...
These are some of our oldest friends we came to visit with. Friends we have history with, like living together when our first son was born and nobody else we knew had anything even close to a baby…
So he was kind of all of our first baby...
We then went up to Old Town Pizza which was quite an amazing space… To put it mildly...
I guess it used to be a brothel, like a looong time back when there were still brothels on main city streets.
Later we finished our evening off at E'Njoni Cafe. An Ethiopian restaurant that took my breath away!!! The picture doesn't even remotely do it  justice.
 Well day five was good!

                                          Best wishes to everyone!
